Note: The Eliza Thompson House is located on brick paved
Jones Street in one of the nicer resideential areas of Savannah's
Historic District. It was renovated in 2000 and occupies 2 buildings,
12 rooms in the main circa 1847 house and 13 in the courtyard addition.
There is a strong emphasis on personal amenities at the inn. Rooms
differ dramatically in style, but all are well adorned with fine
furnishing and antiques. Guest can breakfast inthe the ajoining
courtyard which displays a beautiful fountain and ironwork. Wine
and cheese are served in the parlor in the afternoons and there
is also an evening tea for guests. Room costs runs in the $150-$200
range per night. |
