Note: Clary's Cafe is know as the place were characters
from Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil congregated, however
the restaurant was somewhat locally famous even before the book.
Opened in 1903 as a pharmacy and soda fountain, it has been a popular
Savannah hangout since the doors opened. Daily fare includes a great
breakfast menu and variety of lunch items including burgers, salads,
soups and various local appetizers such as fried green tomatoes
and fresh crab cakes. Sit outside under one of the large umbrella's
at the downtown Abercorn location and enjoy watching the local foot
traffic as you dine. |
